MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the provision of equipment capability, reliability and availability to the company through application of maintenance services, planning, & troubleshooting.

Position Responsibilities
The Maintenance Manager will handle a wide variety of situations and will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
Using planned maintenance schedules to maximize equipment availability, reducing unplanned maintenance and avoidable costs.
Managing/analyzing maintenance data collection and information gathering to improve the planned maintenance service in the future
Work with production managers and other personnel to schedule regular maintenance on all equipment
Order and keep an inventory of tools, supplies and spare parts needed for various types of equipment
Manage 3rd Party service contractors for repairs, service, & preventative maintenance
Create and update/maintain procedure manuals for safety related items, including LOTO and routine required inspections
Estimating costs of labor and parts for industrial equipment
Education and Experience
5 or more years mechanical and facility maintenance experience
Experience using and administering a CMMS, ie eMaint.
Background in ensuring safe practices in a heavy industrial and/or manufacturing environment
Strong background with a working knowledge of hydraulics, pumps and motors, variable frequency drives, plant electrical distribution, electrical controls, and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of PLC’s. Ability to troubleshoot from a schematic or technical manual.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of hydraulic presses, CNC machines, process heating and cooling,
Strong communication skills with technical orientation. Engineering, mathematical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate with technical service providers for off-site support.
Working knowledge of panel building.
Possess a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and engineering concepts
Must be detail-oriented
Must have the ability to meet deadlines and organize and oversee teams
Understanding of basic financial concepts, such as estimating and budgeting
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel. PLC software background is a plus.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
May be required to stand for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, for machine and computer related activities and other tasks.

Work Environment:
Work performed in a combination of manufacturing and office environment. Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, or oils.
